Grid 7 is a software application that creates two-dimensional graphics based on the principles of generative design. Within a simple, rectangular grid, the parameters of visual elements are varied in a way that a – nearly – infinite number of different patterns can be generated. These patterns can be tiled seamlessly to fill areas of any given size and result in different designs – from regular, geometric formations to organic, fluid forms.
